Dr. Svetlana R. Stivi is a founder and the Medical Director
of New Health Institute. She recieved her medical degree
from the University of California, Irvine in 1995, and
completed her residency at Long Beach Memorial Hospital
in 1998. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and
continues to teach medical students and residents as an
Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine. She is
a Diplomat of The American Board of Holistic Medicine
and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians,
the American College for Advancement in Medicine and American
Medical Association. Recipient of the Golden Apple Award
as the outstanding teacher of 2004-2005 from the Long
Beach Family Medicine Residency Program.
She has extensive training and experience in nutrition, vitamin and mineral supplementation, botanicals use, bio-identical hormone replacement, and human potential for self healing. She has successfully diagnosed and treated thousands of patients with serious medical conditions.
